Trouble at the Risca Pit

Looking across the Crosskeys to Wattsville Road towards Newtown and the old coal tip. Tredegar Street can be seen (top left) and the roofs of Tredegar Terrace are just visible (top centre) For those unfamiliar with the location of the Risca Pit in Crosskeys :- The main entrance road was situated opposite Tredegar Street and adjacent to the Pentescostal Church.
